Last year they were not accepting credit cards, so be prepared to bring cash for this event.
Go on-line to purchase tickets. The official website for purchasing Broadway tickets is available here.  A number of discount sites are also available.


Subways: Purchase subway card in stations. $10.00 is lowest denomination which gets you four rides. The blue line runs along the west side of the city and green lines runs along the east side of the city. The red and green lines will take you to the southern tip of Manhattan and the ferries to The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.  For additional information, please visit the NY Metropolitan Area Transit Authority’s website.

Taxis: Prices are dependent on your destination. From Times Square to the Metropolitan Museum of Art will cost approximately $15.00.

Walking: Remember the city is a grid. Avenues run north and south and streets run east and west. Maps of New York City
