Chef Donna Vannan is back from Terra Preta with a menu that will surely delight your taste buds! This is a great way to try vegetarian cuisine. We will start with Spicy Mango pickles. The entree will be one of the items featured at the Globe Store holiday market – Vegetable Curry paired with a coconut lemongrass basmati rice. And due to numerous requests she will share her family Pavlova recipe.

#115 – Craft Beer University: A Crash Course

Date: Wednesday, March 29

The Scranton Brewers Guild and Sean Wolfe, Scranton Brewers Guild President, will present an engagement heavy class about everything craft beer.  We will start with the brewing process and how to brew your own beer, what to look for and not look for in a “good” beer, beer styles and even some beer and food pairings and tastings. The goal of the class is to make even the most novice beer drinker comfortable selecting, talking and describing craft beer.  The Brewers Guild will be supplying some homebrewed beer and other items from our award-winning brewers to sample during the event.  At the end of the crash course, attendees will be able to walk away confident they can hob-knob with the best of the beer geeks out there.  

Learn to know what to expect when ordering a beer you have never heard of and even impress your friends with some beer and food pairings at your next party.
