#139    Introduction to Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction 

 Dates: 6 Tuesdays:  Sept. 19, 26, Oct. 3, 10, 17, 24   Time: 6:30 to 7:30 P.M.

 This introductory session provides a taste of the fundamentals of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, which has been shown to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, pain, and to improve well-being. Through meditation and awareness exercises, we will explore this practical time-proven approach to living fully in the present moment that has helped thousands of people achieve greater balance, vitality and health.
What you will learn:
  • What mindfulness is and how it can reduce stress and enhance well-being
  • A variety of mindfulness meditation practices
  • Applications of mindfulness in day-to-day living
Instructor: Phillip Sallavanti is a mindfulness teacher and practitioner with over 15 years of experience.

Experience a practice of yoga postures, progressive relaxation, breath awareness & meditation techniques with Eileen Harte, certified yoga instructor. Release your body and mind, from physical & psychological pressures.  Identify hidden tensions in particular areas of your body and begin to release habit patterns of postural misalignments.  Find new freedom and comfort in movement.  The core of your being will be in a happier state!
