Play Building and Acting for Special Actors


In this fun and engaging class, students enrolled will be working toward performing an original play of their own making!  Participants will learn theater arts, play building and acting skills.  This includes the essence of story-telling, character creation, the parts of a story, who and what an actor is and how an actor acts.

At the end of this workshop students will perform their original play at the 2018 Inclusion Festival, a festival that celebrates neurodiversity (  They will then help the instructor, Michaela Moore, facilitate a workshop at the festival about play building and acting!  Every participant receives a free ticket to the festival for July 28thfor themselves and one family member. This workshop is specifically geared toward adult students with intellectual and/or physical disabilities.

All experience and ability levels are welcome!
