#102 Cooking with Friends
Join Marzia Caporale for a hands-on experience making fresh pasta & tomato sauce to go with it. This is a class for all levels of ability.

All Access Acting
This acting class is designed for adults with special needs, their friends, family and anyone else looking to express themselves through the theatrical arts in a welcoming, calm environment. An hour-long group acting class focused on self- expression and emotional, social intuition.
Class activities include
- Voice articulation
- Character development
Role play and other techniques and games to bring out everyone’s inner actor will be included. Most of all, we will have lots of fun and grow to know and understand each other.
- Please let us know if there is anything that you feel would make time in class more
comfortable. (Ex. Issues with noises, concerns about wandering, textures, etc.)

About the Instructor
Katie Foley comes to us with over 20 years of theater experience. She obtained her theater training at Mansfield University after winning first place in their competition between New York and Pennsylvania high schools. She was trained in voice as a soprano by Sister Alfonso at Marywood University’s Music Department and has received her degrees in Communications and Elementary Education from Keystone College where she was actively involved in the school’s Drama Program. She ran The Footlight Players in her 20s, a nonprofit she cofounded in the 2000s. Prior to her life as a mother and advocate, she worked for many years at PBS in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Katie is very involved in Autism advocacy, having co-founded a support group for parents of children with Autism called ALIGN run through The Gathering Place. She is also a contributing author for Autism Parenting Magazine where she authored a piece on the positive impact of dramatic play for children with ASD and is an author and illustrator of children’s books such as Bella’s Nighttime Land and You May Never Be French.
