At this 4-hour DYI Workshop Val Langan from Woods and Company will teach you how to make minor repairs, clean, prep and paint your treasure.

When: Sunday, June 12th

Time: 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Cost: $30 plus $15 Supply cost paid to the instructor the day of the class

Details: Bring an old piece of wooden furniture that you can carry in yourself and learn to rehab it and bring it back to life.

Examples: wood chair, end table, small chest, stool, etc.

Let artist Jennifer Case guide you through the process of making a mosaic mandala. This fun project is for beginners and experienced crafters alike.  We will explore the basic rules of mandala making and talk about sacred geometry as it relates to your individual piece.

Using a circular 10” wooden base, we will walk step by step through the process of making a beautiful, unique piece of art by adding colorful tiles, beads and glass. The finished mandalas can be used flat or hung on a wall. 

Date: 2 Saturdays, July 9 & 16

#127  Print Making Craft Series with Christine Medley, Professor of Printmaking and Design, Marywood University

This class consists of two sessions. You can sign up for one or both.

Workshop I: Printing Tea Towels with Produce

Christine Medley, Professor of Printmaking & Design, Marywood University will teach you how to use produce such as citrus, peppers, onions & broccoli to print fun designs on kitchen tea towels. You will go home with two completed tea towels of your own design!

Using commercially made & homemade gel or gelatin plates, Christine Medley, Professor of Printmaking & Design, Marywood University will help you create richly layered & colorful prints with found objects such as corks, netting stencils leaves or anything with texture.
