Food & Beverage

Lee Caporale is a high school special education teacher with a passion for travelling and cooking. Marzia Caporale is a native of Florence, Italy, and a professor of French and Italian at the University of Scranton. The Caporales travel to Florence on a regular basis and have first-hand knowledge of Tuscan cuisine. They enjoy making meals for their friends and have offered several cooking classes at The Gathering Place, including one on making Tortelli Mugellani, the potato-stuffed ravioli that are typical of the countryside north of the Florence metropolitan area.   

The Menu

Tomato Bruschetta, potato stuffed ravioli with Bolognese meat sauce, pork roast with spring salad, biscotti almond cookies with dipping sauce, and vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce as an alternative for children.

Beverages

Bottle water, both flat and sparkling, white wine, espresso.


How do I Purchase Tickets?

You can buy online or by mail.

To purchase by mail, click here for the registration form, print it, fill it out, and mail to the address on the form with your check.

Purchasing Online

Purchasing adult tickets & children tickets online is done separately. Adult & children tickets must be charged separately.
