#129 Needlefelt A Little Christmas Mouse
Join Susan Segall to needle felt a little holiday-ready mouse. Needle felting is a “dry” felting technique where a puff of wool is compressed and shaped by repeatedly stabbing it with a barbed needle. The mouse is constructed over a wire armature which makes it more challenging-but necessary for standing animals or people. Some experience is helpful but not necessary.

Emily Rancier will show you how to cover a playball with 3 thin layers of carded wool & decorate with pre-felts, yarns & fabrics. Surround with pantyhose & bounce! (in soapy water). Further felting & fulling produces a warm woolen hat that is uniquely you! Students bring their own towels, plastic bag, spray bottle, dishpan, pantyhose. Max 5 students.

Want to try tapestry weaving? In this class, all supplies will be provided & you will learn basic tapestry techniques. Come play with color & forms, a dressed loom awaits you. You will leave the class with your completed sample & your 6” x 9” loom re-warped for your next tapestry project!
