About the artist: Shawn Caden is a multi-instrumentalist originally from Clarks Summit. Mostly self-taught, aside from his experience with the music department at Abington Heights, Shawn learned from playing in the local music scene, and from all the generous and talented players the area has to offer.

He plays mandolin, banjo, and bass in a number of local projects including, the Dishonest Fiddlers, Big Leaf, and the Stanley’s. As a full time musician, he can also be found filling in as a sideman in other groups from time to time. He plays sitar at various yoga studios.

In addition to performing, Shawn also teaches lessons and records music under a small label, Humble Records, at his home studio. Shawn is always actively performing, is looking to get more into the world of recording music as well, and is always looking to collaborate with new artists.
