Craft & Chat is a casual setting where artists with & without special needs come together to create and relate. All adults are welcome to this creative experience, including young adults with physical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities.

Dori Waters
Craft & Chat Program Facilitator
Dori Waters is a devoted advocate for individuals with special needs, and is committed to enriching the community. She is a founding member of The Gathering Place, an inclusive community art & education center. A long-time parent-advocate for inclusion, Dori is inspired by the grace and determination of her daughter, Selena. Selena was born with Down syndrome and through Dori’s advocacy was included in all activities throughout her school years, and while attending Misericordia University.
