Whether under the bright summer sun or the quiet hush of snowfall, these plein air works offer an intimate look at the fleeting light, color, and emotion found only in the moment. The exhibition will be on display at the Gathering Place Art Galley May 9th through July 1st with an Artists Reception held on May 9th at 6pm.

Meet a remarkable group of local women united by a shared love of landscape, light, and creativity. Gathering together with paints in hand and easels in tow, these artists embrace the timeless practice of En Plein Air—painting outdoors, directly from life. Whether along riverbanks, in open fields, or tucked into quiet forest clearings, they capture the beauty of the natural world as it unfolds before them.
Working in a variety of media, including oil and watercolor, each artist brings her own perspective and style to the canvas. What unites them is not only their passion for painting but also a sense of camaraderie, inspiration, and the joy of being immersed in nature.
This collective is more than a group—it’s a creative sisterhood where art, landscape, and friendship flourish in every brushstroke.
